The entire staff of the Taiwan ROC Direct Selling Association attended the Association Performance Program Conference organized by the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) during March 29 through 30. Members of direct selling associations from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand,France, Columbia and United Arab Emirates gathered together in Dubai to share and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing direct selling associations in various countries. According to the National Taxation Bureau of Taipei, for retail profits generated by individual participants of multilevel marketing enterprises from sales of goods or provision of services to consumers, if the cumulative inventory purchase falls below NT$77,000 for the entire year beginning with accounting year 2016, personal profit income from the sales amount may be assessed not based on recommended prices (reference prices). If the cumulative inventory purchase exceeds NT$77,000, the consolidated income tax on personal profit income will be assessed based on the recommended prices (reference prices) shown in the inventory purchase materials of the participant for the portion that exceeds such threshold.
Although competition was intense during the friendship tournament at Taichung Golf & Country Club on April 13, still the atmosphere was pleasurable. The Chairman personally visited Taichung not only to present awards to prize winners who have extraordinary golf skills but also to encourage member companies to participate in the golf teams. The gross championship went to Chien-hua Wang, Isagenix's President, with the other winners including Sheng-chuan Hsu, the net champion; Chang-tien Chu, the net runner-up; and Wei-hsing Lee and Wei-ming Chang, the second net runners-ups.
