Amway Received the 2017 Global Views Magazine CSR Award

The selection results of the 2017 Global Views Magazine CSR Award were announced. Amway received an award of excellence in the category of Public Interest Promotion for Amway Hope Maker Career Development Program. Since 1999, Amway has conducted public interest events known as °Opportunities for Self-Help," and created "Hope Maker as a charity brand in 2002 to further such rationale by launching charitable products each year. Hope Maker works with appropriate disadvantaged groups, and raises charitable funds for public interest organizations through product selling by Amway distributors. Since 2012, the 'Hope Maker series of products have been transformed into regularly supplied products. In the past five years, 500,000 products have been sold through the loving sharing of Amway distributors. The 2017 International Olympic Run was launched in the Ilan Sports Park on May 7, attracting over ten thousand runners to participate. Fair Trade Commission Visited by Direct Selling Association

The Fair Trade Commission (FTC), which is the competent authority of the multilevel marketing enterprises in Taiwan, organized a meeting with the Direct Selling Association and representatives of Taiwan Association of Multilevel Marketing, R.O.C. on the morning of April 28. Chairperson Mei-Ying Huang, Vice Chairperson Shao-Chin Peng, and Commissioner Shu-Chen Kuo of the FTC, as well as Director Kuang-Yu Hu and Deputy Director Ching-Tang Lin of the Fair Competition Division, conducted communication and exchanges with representatives of the industry. Seminars on Practical Matters Concerning Enterprise Electronic Ivoices

The Regulatory and Financial Committees of the Direct Selling Association conducted the Seminar on Practical Matters Concerning Enterprise Electronic Invoices on April 21. Consisting of three stages, the seminar first began with a detailed introduction, given by Ms. Yun-Wen Chen, Ms. ShuChing Lin, and Mr. Hsing-Pan Wang, the officials from the National Taxation Bureau of Taipei, of laws and regulations relating to the electronic invoice opera-tion, followed by an introduction of the applicable targets of electronic invoices by Manager Hsiang-Hsing Huang from the Accounting Department of E.
