The Multi-Level Marketing Protection Foundation organized the inaugural "Evaluation of Dispute Resolution Mechanism between Multi-Level Marketing Companies and Distributors" in 2022. Through pre-counseling and post-evaluation, the foundation aims to assist MLM companies in establishing and improving their dispute resolution mechanisms with distributors. The purpose of conducting this evaluation is not only to reduce civil disputes between MLM companies and distributors but also to provide necessary reference and basis for the general public to ensure better protection when they engage in MLM businesses.
In 2022, a total of 13 member companies of the TDSA (E.Excel, Amway, Totalife, Sunpak, Nu Skin, Viva Life, Jeunesse, Lanfar, Nefful, Sheng-En, Charming Judy, Univa NP, and Herbalife) successfully participated in the inaugural "Dispute Resolution Mechanism Evaluation" conducted by the MLMPF. Through their active participation and successful completion of the evaluation process, these 13 member companies demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting the rights of distributors. By establishing comprehensive dispute resolution mechanisms, they have enhanced public understanding and trust in the MLM industry.
The "The Dispute Resolution Mechanism Evaluation" for the year 2023 has officially commenced! On April 10th, the MLMPF held an advocacy event to provide detailed information about the dispute resolution mechanisms in the MLM industry, including the review process, required documents, and more. They also invited the MLM companies that successfully completed the evaluation in 2022 to share their preparation process and on-site assessment experiences.
The TDSA actively encourages member companies to participate in the MLMPF "Dispute Resolution Mechanism Evaluation". Recognizing that member companies that have passed the evaluation have accumulated sufficient experience and resources, the Code of Ethics Committee of TDSA will provide individual counseling and assistance to member companies interested in participating in the evaluation process this year. We will offer ample information and share experiences regarding the preparation of evaluation materials and the on-site assessment process.
Passing the "Dispute Resolution Mechanism Evaluation" not only enhances the reputation of the MLM industry but also plays a crucial role in establishing a high-quality environment for the industry. The TDSA warmly welcomes member companies to actively participate in the evaluation. The Secretariat of TDSA and the Code of Ethics Committee will provide necessary assistance to help member companies smoothly undergo the evaluation process.
